British Watchmakers' Day 2025: A Landmark Moment for BŌKEN

British Watchmakers' Day 2025 has wrapped, and what a day it was. Held in the heart of London, the show was bigger, bolder, and more buzzing than ever before — and BŌKEN was right at the center of it.

This year marked a major milestone for us. We didn’t just show up — we stood out. Our stand, positioned right next to the entrance, was impossible to miss. At times, we had three rows deep of people crowding around to get hands-on with our latest watches, hear our story, and experience BŌKEN up close.

It was a far cry from 2024. Back then, we were tucked on a small table, looking across the room at the more established names, wondering if we belonged. Fast forward twelve months, and everything has changed. What a journey it’s been — and this was our most humbling moment yet.

🔓 The Breacher Debuts in Style

The real star of the stand? The Breacher — our brand new, Built British platform. It made its full public debut at the show, and the response was electric. From the clean and capable Time Only, to the versatile GMT, and finally the stealthy, tactical Black Ops GMT, the full trio was on display, turning heads all day.

Every piece in the Breacher range is designed with the adventurer in mind: bold but wearable, stylish but built to take a knock. For the first time ever, our watches are assembled right here in the UK, regulated to an industry-beating accuracy of +3/-2 seconds per day, and powered by robust Sellita movements.

🎨 Live Dial Painting by The Dial Artist

We were honoured to welcome a very special guest to the stand: Chris Alexander, The Dial Artist, who joined us live to create three one-of-a-kind pieces in real time.

Over the course of the day, Chris hand-painted three dials, each representing one of the great nations that make up Britain:

  • Conwy Castle – Wales

  • Windsor Castle – England

  • Edinburgh Castle – Scotland

These weren’t just beautiful artworks — they were fitted to our Breacher Time Only watches and offered up in a silent auction as piece uniques. The best part? All three were sold to incredible collectors who now own a moment in BŌKEN history.

Watching these dials come to life on stand was pure magic. The detail. The patience. The skill. It was a moment for the British watchmaking scene that we’ll never forget.

🥃 Whisky, Partners & Proper Celebration

Of course, it wouldn’t be a BŌKEN event without a bit of fun. We were joined by our brilliant partners Wingback, showcasing their beautiful British-made writing tools, flasks, and leather goods, and Wolf, with their iconic winders and storage solutions.

But the real crowd-puller? Hawkridge Distillers — our good friends and the creators of some of the finest British gin and whisky around.

They gifted us a case of their brand-new whisky for the day... which we (naïvely) thought would last until the end. Not quite. Within hours, it was clear: the public loved it. Comments like "Now that is an incredible drink" and "I need to buy a bottle of this immediately" were on repeat.

Honestly, we think the whisky gave a few people just enough courage to put in some strong bids on the special editions. And we don’t blame them.

📰 Press & Friends of the Brand

British Watchmakers' Day 2025 also proved to be a magnet for the press — and some of the most respected voices in the watch world.

Bark & Jack

We were lucky enough to be visited by major publications like GQ, Oracle Time, Watchgecko, and the brilliant team from LBC, who came to see what all the Breacher buzz was about. With interviews, features and behind-the-scenes shots taken throughout the day, it was a real moment of pride to see BŌKEN recognised as a brand to watch in the growing British horological landscape.

But the love didn’t stop there. The online watch community turned up in full force — and brought the energy with them. Friends like Henderson Horology, Bark and Jack, and the always-entertaining @bowlofsalmon dropped by the stand to say hello, film content, and share in the adventure.

Whether it was a post, a story, a reel, or just a little whisky toast together at the end of the day, we’re hugely grateful for their continued support. The BŌKEN story wouldn’t be the same without them.

🙌 A Huge Thank You

To the British Watch & Clockmakers’ Alliance, and especially Katya for going above and beyond once again — you absolutely smashed it. This show continues to grow year on year, and we’re proud to be part of such a thriving, passionate community.

To our customers, our supporters, and everyone who came by the stand: thank you. It means the world. And if you couldn’t make it? Don’t worry. We’ve got a calendar full of events this year — plus a few surprises we can’t wait to share.

Here’s to British Watchmakers' Day 2026 — and everything in between.
