Harry's love for racing ignited when he was just five years old. It all began in Hastings, where he took his first spin in a kart. From the moment he felt the speed and the thrill, he was hooked. Karting quickly became more than a hobby—it became an obsession.
The Transition to Owner Karts
At the tender age of 11, Harry moved up to owner karts, a significant step in his racing career. For three intense years, he honed his skills, competing fiercely and learning the ropes of competitive racing. But life had more twists and turns in store for Harry.
From Karting to Cars
Standing at 5 foot 11 by the age of 14, Harry found himself too tall and heavy to continue karting. But fate had a different plan. A year earlier, Harry had picked up the basics of driving in the most unlikely of places—the car park of Kempton horse racing track. Little did he know, this would play a crucial role in his future.
On his 14th birthday, Harry applied for the Junior Saloon Car Championship scholarship. To his delight, he won the event. Despite being the youngest competitor by a year, Harry started making waves, securing podium finishes and proving his mettle on the racetrack.
A Passion for Driving
We asked Harry why he loves driving so much. He shared, "I tried everything from rugby to tennis, boxing to driving. But there was only one thing that truly gave me that adrenaline rush—driving."
